BugIt is still writing. You approve what you have read.

Illustrative. Not a recording of a real editor.

A worked sample

From a rough note to a draft you can read.

Sample. The data is invented.

The rough note

After the update the invoice total shows 0.00 for orders with a discount code. It blocks checkout.

BugIt then asked a few questions. The answers: add an item, enter a discount code, open the invoice; the total should show the discounted price; Windows, laptop, each time, since the latest update; build not known.

The draft

[Checkout] Invoice total shows 0.00 for orders with a discount code Inferred, please check

Steps
  1. Add an item to the cart. From your note
  2. Enter a discount code. From your note
  3. Open the invoice. From your note
Expected result
The invoice shows the discounted price. From your note
Actual result
The invoice total shows 0.00 and blocks checkout. From your note
Severity
High
  • Checkout is blocked for orders with a discount code. From your note
  • It happens every time with a discount code. From your note
  • No workaround is mentioned, and the number of users affected is unknown. Inferred, please check

What would change this: A workaround is found, which would lower the level to Medium.

Build or version
UNKNOWN: reporter did not give the build number UNKNOWN

Every line says whether it came from the note, was inferred, or is unknown.

How it works

Three moves. The last one is always yours.

  1. 01

    You describe it

In your own words, in any of sixteen languages, in the assistant you already have open.

  2. 02

    BugIt does the write up

Title, steps, expected and actual, severity and platform, in your team's language and house style.

  3. 03

    You type FILE IT

Then it goes to your tracker with your own token. Not a moment before.

Built in, nothing to switch on

Up to five checks before you see the draft.

Duplicates

Searches your tracker, read only, for tickets like yours and gives each a score. Quick bugs skip it.

Severity

Suggested from the symptoms, with reasons. You decide.

Logs

Paste a log and it keeps the crash line and the stack.

Personal data

BugIt can replace common personal data with placeholders in the report it files, as a best effort; always read the draft before you file it.

Thin reports

Warns when the steps are too thin for a developer to act on, and asks what is missing.

Nothing is filed until you type it.

Every write is previewed and bound to the draft you read. Change anything and BugIt asks again. Each yes is spent once, so it cannot file twice.

Eleven trackers

Files where your team already works.

Each connected with a token you create in your own account. Slack, Teams, Discord and email notifications are built in and stay off until you connect them.

All prices are in US dollars (USD). Each license runs for one year and does not renew automatically: nothing is charged again unless you choose to renew. Backed by a 7 day refund policy.

What do I get after I pay?

Access to your BugIt account, where you download the folder and activate it by signing in. The license runs for one year from the date of purchase, with a 3 day grace period after it ends.

How many devices can I use?

Solo is for one tester on one device at a time. Team has five seats, each member with their own account and device, and a second Team license adds five more seats. An account may not be shared.

Does Taskivator see my tickets?

No. Your tickets, specs and tokens do not pass through our servers. Only license and update data does, and every field is listed in the privacy notice.

Do I need GitHub Copilot?

No. BugIt runs in any assistant that can run a command: Copilot Chat, the Claude extension in VS Code, or a plain terminal. It can also run standalone with your own OpenAI or Anthropic key.

Does BugIt include an AI model?

No. It runs in the assistant you already use, or standalone with your own OpenAI or Anthropic key.

What happens after a year?

Your files and settings stay. Filing needs an active license, and nothing renews unless you buy again.

Can I get a refund?

You may request one within 7 days of purchase if BugIt does not work as advertised, a reproducible technical issue prevents normal use, or Support cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe. The refund policy has the details.

How do I get help?

Every license includes email support, and Team adds priority support. Write to support@bugit.dev or see the support page.

Your testers find the bugs.
BugIt writes them up.
